Shari Duncan

Shari Duncan has competed for just two years now. She participated in her first event in 2007, the INBF Iron Eagle, placing  2nd, and then competing in the OCB Core Nutritionals Natural, winning her IFPA Pro Card. By the way.... both when she was almost 45 years old.

Shari entered and won the Women's Masters 35+, and Women's Open Bodybuilding Overall at the 2008 OCB Spirit of America, and then in May 2008, Shari entered (and placed 4th) in her first professional event at the IFPA Pro-Bowl in RIchmond Virginia.  Last year, after nearly 24 years...she left a very secure career in Health Care to go to manage her local Powerhouse Gym in Brunswick, Georgia. and she loves it!

Shari loves everything bodybuilding.  The discipline, the challenge, the networking with others but  mostly the sense of accomplishment to see your hard work pay-off.  It is such a personal achievment, in so many aspects.

Shari is training now for the 2009 season. It's her goal to compete at Yorton.... She went this past year and worked as an expeditor. It was an amazing experience for her. She was in awe, and so inspired by all of the talent.

Talk about an inspiration...... she entered her first show in her mid 40's and within the year, comes away with her Pro Card. She then goes on to place 4th in her first Pro contest.

She looks fantastic and proves age has no limitations.

Shari is yet another great IFPA Women's bodybuilder with a great future ahead of her.

She has my respect and admiration, and best wishes for a great competitive year in 2009!
