Kristin Fonseca is the newest member of the IFPA Pro Women's bodybuilding division. She won her IFPA Pro Card at this years Spirit of America with a magnificent performance.

 

Kristin was the surprise of the show with a physique that was that of a seasoned veteran. Her legs were the best I have seen in Women's bodybuilding in a long, long time. She has a perfectly balanced physique that was finely conditioned, and just plain awesome!

 

Kristin Fonseca has been interested in the sport of bodybuilding since the summer of 1985 when she joined a gym to try to shed the weight she gained her freshman year of college.  She has always wanted to achieve the physique to one day be able to participate in a body building competition but for various reasons fell short of that goal. In October 2008, Kristin watched The OCB Cape Cod Natural in Barnstable and was inspired by the unbelievable dedication of these athletes.  With the encouragement and guidance of new friends at the gym Kristin was able to take her training to a new level.  At age 42 Kristin entered her first competition and was able to get 1^st place in Novice, Masters and Open enabling her to be eligible for her pro card. 

 

I am beyond excited about this sport and love the discipline involved. I enjoy every aspect of the training and the way eating clean makes me feel.  I especially love the performance part of competing and can't wait to get back on the stage again.

 

Kristin is a professional musician with an undergraduate degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston and an MED from Curry College in Milton.  She has performed as a singer for over 20 years in various bands including her cover band Sister Cheryl and released an original self-titled CD in 2006 with her husband Arnie .  Kristin is a proud parent of a 12-year-old son, Shane. To relax she enjoys making jewelry and has recently designed custom-made competition bodybuilding and figure jewelry.

 

  Kristin would especially like to thank her trainer Steve for the dedication, motivation and for helping her believe that reaching a competition ready physique could be possible. Kristin looks forward to improving her physique as much as possible.  Her future goals include participating in a Pro Women's Body building competition.

 

Her smile is infectious and watching her on stage is just plain fun!
