Drexel Long

 

Drexel Long is a Triple Pro, having earned her Pro Cards in the NGA, FAME and IFPA. She's a middle school Physical Ed teacher and a track coach.

 

Drexel was coached by the same coaches who coached Carl Lewis and other Olympians while she attended and graduated from University of Houston.

 

She was ranked #2 behind Marion Jones in the 400m dash her Senior yr in HS. She still holds track records at her high school. She graduated in 1991.

 

Drexel's a member of the 4x400m relay that still holds the outdoor record for University  of Houston.

 

She's a 6 time All American in track.

 

Drexel is a Philly/Jersey girl living in Texas.

 

She's been  training for 6 years, is a former 400m runner (stopped running in 2000). Drexel took some time off and started working out on her own using body for life in 2002. In 2008 she hired trainer Jeremy Minihan out of Oklahoma city, Sept 08 to help her get ready for competition.

NPC Central Texas Cup (1st yr show) 

I won my 1st show as a heavyweight, not only was I the only one in my class but I was the ONLY female bodybuilder in the whole show.  


John Sherman Classic finally

2nd place as a Light heavyweight. This qualified me to compete at a national show for 2 yrs. 


2005
