Darren Vernon is the 2008 IFPA Yorton Cup Champion! Coming over to the USA from Manchester, United Kingdom... he beat out 20 other great IFPA Pro's at this years show.

Here's a small excerpt by Vicky McCann (BNBF co-creator) from her Yorton Cup contest report:

"Darren was totally professional on stage. He never relaxed and held every pose. His condition was excellent and he had great chest and shoulders with great hamstrings. I am glad we all gave him a tough time not letting him go into Washington, or go out for a meal as he was bang on. Darren being one of the smaller competitors was being named the giant killer. He had a great debut and now has a massive reputation to live up to. It was great moment when Darren was announced the winner and he rushed off stage to get his BNBF Jacket before being presented his trophy. We were all really proud of him"

Darren is 30 years old. His competition weight is 170 - 178 lbs., and his off-season weight is 189 - 196 lbs. He was born in Manchester, United Kingdom, and currently works for Taylor Wimpey (www.taylorwimpey.co.uk).
